History of laxative abuse/ water intake

Hi!
I've noticed my weight fluctuates ALOT. One day it will be on the "low end" another day on the "high end." I used to be maintaining on 1850-2000 bit cut back to 1700-1800 in hopes to fix the fluctuations... no such luck.
Now I am confused as to what my body's maintenance level is. I do have a history of laxative abuse which I have "semi cured." I am taking just Smooth Move tea every night and weigh on the days I have a good bowel movement. Between 6:00-10:00pm every night I drink around six 16oz water bottles and then go to bed at around 10:15. I do get up to pee a lot during the night (5-6 times.) But, could that be the culprit of the fluctuations? (I weigh at about 7:45am)
is there anything else that could be causing this? Damage from Senekot abuse (my pee isn't totally clear and still yellowish even with drinking 6-8 bottles a day). Or, maybe my calorie level is too low now?
Also: I eat around 2000-2100mg sodium a day.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!

I think, given your history, this something you need to discuss with your doctor

I don't know why you would drink that much water right before going to bed. Its possible that your lack of continuous sleep is causing the wild fluctuations in weight. My body fluctuates anywhere between 1-8 pounds in a day, its normal. You need good sleep for the body to maintain and repair itself.

My weight fluctuates every day. I weigh anywhere from 3 to 7 pounds heavier at night (I am 5'8' with a small long body frame). So, like you I only weigh in once a day in the morning. I charted my weight in another program for a long time. it shows my weight dances around between 126 and 132 - it just does. I added weight training two times a week and guess what? My weight goes up 1-2 pounds the next day after training, and then down 3 the second day after training... but my clothes fit me at all those different weights at my height. I don't let what day or time I have a BM factor into when I weigh.. my hair might have grown or my body is retaining more water along with I am denser with more muscle. I have taken some measurements and noted how I felt.. if I don't feel bloated or my clothes still zip/snap/button, then I just have a denser body that day. I have found that maintenance has it's own set of challenges, the biggest one being my own personal goal setting and body acceptance.
