Anybody sneak exercise into their work routine?

What are some tricks you use to sneak exercise into your work routine?

I work at a hospital so I'm constantly walking (3-5 miles a day on most days). I try to take the stairs at work when I can and I will squeeze my abdominal muscles (when I remember) while I'm standing.

Absolutely. I walk mail across campus, I take the stairs. I offer to go up 5 flights to check the mail... you name it. N.E.A.T could be my middle name. :D

I use toilets that are the other end of the building and involve 4 flights of stairs. I also try and take 2 steps at a time. I go and see people, rather than email (if appropriate). Fortunately my role involves a lot of meetings at sites so I'm normally out and about and walking around a lot too. I don't think I could stand a job where I would need to be sat for long periods (like a call centre).

I fly a desk. Occasionally I get to trek across the building, but I do climb stairs on breaks, and have been known to close the door to my office and plank or do some yoga poses when nobody is looking. ;)

I am in Material Management at a hospital. I take the stairs whenever possible and park in the farthest parking spot in the lot.

Always take the stairs, arrange meetings with colleagues who work in other offices and walk to them, walk to and from work.

I do some squats and lunges every time I go to the loo too, haha. Takes about 3 mins.

Squatting in the loo is genius!

Well, my gym is at my office, so yes :) eventhough I don't think that's what you meant.

I work at a hospital/med college too, so I walk everywhere.

I'm lucky enough to have a fitness centre at my work. I schedule my cardio the same as a meeting in order to ensure it doesn't get lost during the day. Co-workers now know the time I go everyday and it makes it so much easier to get there.

I started taking workout breaks and brought in some free weights. Usually just do squats/pushups in the office and stretch throughout the day.

Same for me. I make it a point to workout on my lunch break at least a few times a week.
