Hi all, I was once 275 lbs and made it down to 155. I lost my job, my girlfriend had an affair, and I moved with two kids and nothing else. I managed to find a place to live, the oldest child was a step child and had mental health issues and mom would not help in his care. She was also breaking safety plan while he was in her care. I went back to school and dedicated myself to improving mine and my children's lives. I stopped exercising and dieting. I am back up to 230 lbs and having trouble sticking to a diet. I am working, my step son moved back to his mothers after two years but I still have the little guy. I am joining this community hoping I can connect with like minded people and get back to a healthy lifestyle.
