In need of some Low Carb Motivation

Hi All, I have just started my low carb lifestyle and have been in phase 1 for about a week. I was hoping some of you could share your success stories with me, especially how much you lost in Phase 1 and how long Phase 1 was for you. Any tips that kept you going would be very helpful too!

Well I haven't lost anything yet but im doing low carb I've done it before and lost 20. U can add me. Its a bit rough some day.0

I'm doing carb cycling, so a bit different. I do 5 low carb days and 2 high carb ones. I've been doing it about a month now. I lost 5cm off my hips and 5 off my waist, and after the first 2 weeks I'd lost 5.2lbs. I need to weigh myself on the same scale again, but it's at a different gym, so I'll go next week. I have a treat once a week too, on a high carb day, like a slice of cake.0

Hello there! I have also just started out with low carb eating as my first stage. I have 80 pounds to shred and keep off. I hit the ground running this week. The results have been more than I could hope for!! I have shed 8 pounds in less than a week. And I keep a good calorie intake of 1570 and I run or go on the elliptical for 30 minutes a day (usually burning 300 calories) and weight lift for 15 minutes. Feel free to look at my last week of eating habits. Theyre exactly what I have been eating.
I am not sticking straight to Atkins phase one. I made my own plan and use low carb wraps, and have a hearty breakfast of 2-3 eggs. So far hunger has been manageable. My dinners are usually healthy choice dinners with a salad.

Goal: 145 lb

I am new to fitnesspal but it was suggested by a friend. I started Atkins induction today. I lost 50 pounds 11 years ago on it and know it works and I feel better when eating low carb.0
