Three pounds to go until my goal weight!
But these last three pounds have been the hardest, sort of!
It's not that in plateauing, I've kind of been not careful what I'm eating and no working out, so my weight has been fluctuating between 126 and 130. I really want to get to 123 but if you've seen my last post, I don't have much time I work out, and the family I work for always makes yummy treats and food for me to eat!

I just need to keep my goal in sight and say no no no to yummy foods.

How did you guys reach your goal weight??

Yes, the last few lbs are the hardest. Then comes maintenance!! I do the following to keep on track - it is very controversial as you can gain and lost 2-3 lbs while staying on plan but it keeps me from shoving things in my mouth and I can be careful not to have the weight creep back on. I weigh myself every morning and put the lbs into MFP. Then I put in food and exercise for day. I read the motivational posts and really try to focus on helping others and reading the things that can help me. Don't be discouraged if you gain and lose the same 5 lbs - just don't let it start to creep onto what it used to be!!!

I met goal weight by raising my calorie goal and running.

Yep, and I was 43 at the time. I am now closing in on 45. Please feel free to check out my pictures to prove to you that I did it.

Now I also want to say that I eat very clean and I honestly think that has a lot to do with the way I look. I swear I look better and younger now than 10 years ago. I have been at this for 5 years, I started by giving up a little bit at a time. If I try to do it all at once I end up saying screw it and failing. I had lost close to 30 lbs over that first few years and found MFP to lose the last 5 that every 40 something wants to lose. I was having a hard time because MFP set me to 1200 and I was not losing but when I raised it to 1500 and started incorporating a little running in with my walking I crushed it.
