Doctor's comment regarding my temples

I saw my doctor Tuesday and mentioned that I want to lose another 10 pounds. He recommended I stop losing weight now because the flesh over my temporal bones is depressed (or indented, if that's clearer), which he said can be an indication that a person is primarily losing muscle now instead of fat. I have never heard nor can I find anything about it on Google. Has anyone else ever heard this?

    I found this:

    The Temples
The temples are the hollows or indentations on the lateral sides of the forehead, above and lateral to the eyebrows. They give a number of important diagnostic signs and indications.
Temples that are unduly sunken or hollowed out can indicate dehydration, consumption, or a general state of malnutrition and emaciation.
Prominent veins and blood vessels in the temples indicate a tendency towards high blood pressure. Sometimes, there is even a visible pulsation of these blood vessels.
Red, inflamed temples can be a sign of migraines. Sometimes, the temples will even be hot to the touch.

Either way, sunken temples don't sound typical to me. What is your actual weight and LMM %?

Consumption? The 1890s is telegraphing and want's their outdated terminology back.

I wish more people would ask the doctor while they're there.

If the doctor is telling you to stop losing weight, stop losing weight.

@SOOZIE429, I weigh 210. I don't know what my LMM ratio is (dying to know, but it's hard to find a place that can measure it), but my BMI is 29 or less. I hate BMI because it does not take into account muscle mass.

@Kalikel, trouble is, the doctor I see for my weight loss management tells me it's okay to lose some more. My regular doctor just happened to ask me how I felt about my weight loss. @galprincess, I did ask for clarification.
