Hi...I'm Sally.
I have had the My Fitness Pal app on my phone for some time but haven't used it as much as I should. I joined Weight Watchers (online version) three months ago and now that I will have to pay again shortly, am debating whether to stick with Weight Watchers or to go with My Fitness Pal. See some similarities and differences between the two. Just don't know which is best. Am in need to lose quite a bit of weight and a way to change my lifestyle for the better. Any help, suggestions, or what not is greatly appreciated.

Since we are all on MFP you are likely to get very biased answers.
In my mind you can either count points or count calories. Why take yourself one step away from what you are actually eating by using something other than calories. Also, I can do MFP forever, for free and I have to pay WW.

I figured I'd probably get a biased reply posting that here, but it is good to see the benfits of MFP. Great that it is free. I do see a lot of similarities that make me wonder why pay for WW, especially since I am doing it online and not going to meetings. Thanks again.

I've done both (with meetings for WW), and MFP is much better for me. Some people on here do both, so they must get something out of WW that they don't get here.
