NSV - Curious.....has anyone else experienced this???

I went to the dentist and she said that my guns had improved tremendously for the measurement of the pockets between my teeth and gums. I've always taken good care of my teeth but before I started eating healthier she said that they were swollen and I got bad readings. (not real bad....just not what I would want if I had my choice) I was worried about receding gum line. But now it's almost totally gone. I haven't done anything different. I'm wondering if losing the weight is helping my blood pressure - therefore reducing swelling in my gums. Any thoughts on this? Anyone else had changes in dental checkups that they contribute to eating healthy?

    Great NSV!
I have not been to the dentist since changing my eating.
What you say is logical -- inflammation in the body goes down.
Other good things happen as well.

Also the difference in sugar. My dentist told me the sugar can cause the gums to swell because it increases bacteria (or something to that effect). Irregardless, this is awesome!

Oh wow, congrats! That's a problem my own dentist has brought to my attention and I can only hope that he sees some improvement as my weight goes down!
