Much thanks to members for flagging and posting here and for mods for helping to remove this spam much faster. I can see last night was another flood of spam. I have taken our spam thresholds to the lowest level; we will give this a couple of days to see if A) it has any positive impact
it starts to flag many false positives. 0 -

Hey guys, I'll be online at several points throughout the night over the next 9 hours. @ me if spam gets a bit much!! HItting the gym for a few hours now (aiming for a marathon distance!! whoop!), then I'll come online and do some spam zapping amongst other things!

I reported it as advertising. I think that's what we're supposed to do for people trying to drum up business.
The spam flag feature should only be used on 'autobot' spam. If you're unsure then feel free to place a report and one of the moderation team will come and take a look.

I did that as well... I just wanted it down quick so no one fell for it and joined her little troop.
I just figured if there were a few reports then it might get taken down quickly.

@Olivia is there any chance of changing the setting such that when a person has a post removed for spam, they can't post any more until after a mod reviews it? I realize a few regular users would get caught up but it could help slow down some of these users that get a dozen spam posts up in a short time...
