Reached plateau?

Hello All,
I need a little help here. My routine for the past 10 months has consisted of me running 2 miles per day 4 days a week, 20 minutes on the elliptical, and some weights. It's been working and I've slowly been able to increase my speed. But for the past month my body just won't go. It doesn't hurt- it's no my mind... My mind is pushing but it seems that my body just says "no." I have to stop 10 to 12 minutes in because I just can't finish. I'm so angry!!! I feel like I've just lost my zeal. I even drink. Vega sport preworkout drink before and even that won't work anymore. I feel like punching a hole in the wall I'm so frustrated. I have no spark. I'm determined- I'm in the gym my same four days ready to go and the fire just won't come. I put on good music too. Then I tried silence- then I tried late night- early morning... Nope, nothing. What is wrong with me??? I am not a rum me so I was very proud and content with my two little miles. Now I don't even have that. :::sigh:::: is it over? I eat well, I'm healthy...so what's the problem? Please someone help me. How can I become fantastic again? Is it over? Is this temporary. I just keep on pushing. If I have to walk the rest out, I do. If I have to take a break, I do. I figure that something is better than nothing. I'm just feeling like a failure. I know I've posted about this before but I can't get it off the front on my mind. I'm so disappointed.

How much are you eating, and when was the last time you took a few days rest? Overtraining and undereating can cause this......

I haven't really taken any time off. I mean there were a few weeks I didn't make 4 days. I've been eating 1200 calories each day (give or take). Everyone keeps saying I need to eat more. But it worked so well all these months. I'm afraid if I take a week or two off I will become complacent. It's scary...

I don't think she's overtraining, but she certainly could be under eating.

OP: I think you're bored. Have you considered doing something much different, with a specific goal to reach?

Yes. I think I need to try something else. Maybe something more social. We just moved and there is a kickboxing gym next door. I've been eyeballing their classes. But if I do something else and stop focusing on running, will it make me a looser? I know this is a dumb question, but I really need help. And I think you're on to something with the boredom. Dude, I'm an aquarius and I can't take but so much of anything or I will completely fall off. I wanted to reach my one year mark, but I don't know if it will happen.

Take some time off. And dump the pre workout. It's just most a stimulant anyway.

I don't think that I will eat a hamburger, but I couldn't definitely add in another sandwich or bowl of cereal.

Changing your focus doesn't make you a loser...
Making yourself better and doing what you enjoy makes you a winner.

Kick boxing is a -lot- of fun. I would highly recommend at least trying a few weeks!

Yes...It's a stimulant that no longer works. Ive become immune so I'm flushing money down the toilet. Maybe I'll just take some long walks with the kids in the park for the next weeks. Then I can convince my husband to buy me a membership at title boxing and I'll have a fresh start with a social life.

It looks amazing. I took a trial class the other week and had a great time. I'd actually burn more calories and use different parts of my body. This could be a good thing.
