Hi reenekolb.
What I've found was working for me very well was delaying eating carbs in the morning for as long as possible.
When you wake up your body is starved of carbohydrates which has been used overnight. Instead of eating cereal, granola, drinking fruit juice etc. in the morning try something like eggs and bacon or other low/no carb options.
Depriving your body of carbs in the morning will force it to use fat for fuel instead. Obviously extreme low carb diet should and will result in accelerated fat loss, however not everyone can function normally without them, so even if you won't eat any until lunchtime it will help you a lot.
I suggest you also look up internet for information about insulin and how consuming carbohydrates affect its levels and what it does to you. Food industry tries to tell you that fat is bad, and sell you zero fat yoghurt and other products. The real enemy is sugar, not fat.
All the best in your journey!0
