I'm have no problem eating carbs but my fat percentage is really high because of nuts. Can y'all also recommend some yummy snacks and food for a new vegan?

I would aim for more protein and fat than 10%. Nuts and seeds, roasted chickpeas, fried tofu, red lentils blended into dishes like mashed potatoes, gravy made from chick peas.
Try sites like OhSheGlows,com, ChocolateCoveredKatie.com, and TheVedge.org for great recipes.0 -
Any specific reason why 80/10/10? I'm a Vegan and aim for quite a bit more than that. Percentages are a bit of a bad way of counting them anyway because 10% of 1200 and 10% of 2000 are quite different. For a sedentary person the recommendations are normally around 0.8g per kilo so more if you exercise or do weights. I aim for around 15-20% but as I eat around 2500 calories most days thats around 100g or more.0
