Muscle Food Fat Burners?

Just wondering if anyone could help me on this - basically I found some fat burners on the Muscle Food website, and all their reviews are amazing. I am trying to loose some weight but really struggling - I eat healthy 80% of the time, and exercise (body pump classes and pilates) 3-4 times a week. I struggle with portion control and have a bad sweet tooth. Do you think these would help me achieve my goals? I want to loose about a stone.
Thanks!

Most of the fat burner pills are full of caffiene and stimulants. They are a waste of money. I've taken several different ones (years ago, before I knew better) and didn't see much progress on the scale, but I did get jittery from all the crap in them.

What makes you lose weight: eating in a deficit, regardless of what makes up the food you actually eat. If you like sweets, you can have those and still lose weight. For portions, you need to weigh everything you eat and measure all of your liquids. It takes some getting used ot, but it will get you the progress you want.

    Hi Miss Wlma,

I have used them in the past but have found that other than an increased in energy (they are a stimulant) they haven't taken me anywhere I couldn't already get to by watching my diet and looking at my workouts.

My reccomendation would be to save your money. A strong black coffee with a dollop of coconut oil in the morning works just fine for me. Also green tea can be effective in weight loss.

It sounds to me that you know why you may not be seeing the progress you would like. Work on the portion control and sweet cravings and you're going to be fine. If you need any tips or advice drop me a line.

You are looking for magic beans.
Eat at a deficit and if possible move more to lose weight.

You are saying you cant manage to eat at a deficit or have the discipline to eat less than you burn. You can either commit or you cant.

Ask yourself why you cnat exercise portion control or how people get away from having a sugar addiction. It normally involves eating less of your existing diet or changing what you eat and adapting.

Log you food, be at an accurate deficit of 500+ calories a day for a month and then look at the weight loss and decide if you want more. MFP is about forming a more balanced relationship with food in a sustainable way. Once you start making progress you will start to protect it so be patient and apply yourself.

.... and all their reviews are amazing.
If it sounds too good to be true then the likely outcome is that it's too good to be true!
I struggle with portion control and have a bad sweet tooth.
Taking stimulents isn't going to resolve these issues.
