Troll (WHT is that?)
I'm not new to MFP but until now, I've been a little embarrassed to ask about certain aspects of the lingo on here.
Ok, so maybe I'm naive or just plain lame. But, I see a lot of people using the phrase, "TROLL" on here. WTH does that mean? If i had to guess, I would say it meant that people are just posting BS and trying get people angry enough to respond with things that will earn them strikes.
How close am I?

Lisa - troll refers to someone who seeks attention by stirring up trouble (ie trolling for attention). They'll come on an online forum and whip up a frenzy by saying something so outlandish/offensive that folks feel compelled to respond. The easiest way to deal with these imbeciles is to simply ignore them. They tend to get bored and move on VERY quickly, particularly when the ground isn't particularly fertile.0
