The new season kicked off last night. I really thought there would be more cannibal story before they burned down the place. Oh well.

What are your favorite parts of last night's episode? And post a cannibal pun.

I loved when Darrel ran up to Carol. Such a touching moment from two of my favorite characters.

I really thought they'd be at Terminus for a few episodes, as well. Oh, well...I'm excited for them to be rid of that part and to continue on to find Beth.

I told my stepson that Carol would be the one I'd want to be with in this type of world. She has no reservation doing what has to be done.

Also, loved the scene with she and Daryl as well. I love it when they show tender emotion from him.

I was LIVID when that TERMITE put his hands on little Judith... I wanted a walker to bust in and rip his face off!!! Glad to see that the old kick *kitten* Tyrese is back too...

Almost cried when Daryl ran and hugged Carol... As for the rumors that the writers were going to rewrite his character as gay... Um NO, not after that reunion! He's is as straight as they come!

I almost threw up when they were killing the people in the slaughtering room in Terminus... I probly would have tossed my cookies if they had done anything to Glen. Then I would have been PISSED! Glad to see the Badass Rick come through and take out those animals.

Last, They need to find Beth, but they also need to deal with any Terminus survivors. There's a back story there what with all the rape and torture stuff they hinted at, but there's no excuse for how the Termites turned after that...

Can't wait till next week!!!!!

I think it was one of the best premiers they've had so far. Started off strong and ended with a major cliffhanger. THAT is how it's supposed to be done.

1.) Carol, alone, taking down Terminus after seeing Rick being dragged away? Badass.
2.) The moment Rick says, "Kill everyone. These people don't get to live." after seeing the bodies hanging around in the "smoke room".
3.) Finally getting closure on where the hippy guy from last season was after seeing his GF die.
4.) Daryl's "vulnerable" moment when he sees Carol.
5.) When Tyrese walks out of the cabin with Judith and Rick finally getting closure that she's alive and well.
6.) The teaser at the end showing that Morgan is back, and seemingly well put together.

I'm pretty impressed, for what it's worth. I know I'm not an actual critic, but just a fan.

Loved it all! Except the bat/knife scene.. I am not a huge gore fan and had to turn away from the screen because of that.. I also had my almost 3 year old up and was trying to distract him but he saw bits of that scene and stared at the tv almost dumbfounded like "WHAT IS GOING ON HERE????" (adding that when we began the episode our son was asleep, but he must have heard something that woke him within 2 minutes of the start of the episode-and my husband is not one that wants to miss anything with that show)..
The moment between Carol and Daryl was touching and my husband and I had a talk about that moment because I thought it was just about as intimate as you can get with someone without it being a relationship. My husband says that with the way Daryl leaned his head into Carol's chest was more like a son/mother embrace.
I really hated the threatening the baby thing from that scumbag from Terminus.. Tyreese did the right thing taking him down. YOU DON'T THREATEN INNOCENT CHILDREN!!
Rick seeing Judith again and that moment with Rick and his 2 children, that was my favorite touching part.
and YES, Carol is a bad-*kitten* for what she did to get them out!
It was sad to see how Terminus ended up the way they were, and it is definitely a line that they crossed and shouldn't have, but it's easy to see why they did what they did. However, they should have had a better screening process.

I was very impressed with Carol's tactical prowess. I mean, I knew she could shoot but to come up with an invasion plan like that is just diabolical. Wrapping yourself in zombie gravy camo with a rifle to take strategic shots like that.... the precisely aimed firework.... taking out Tasha Yar...

I just now realized that was Tasha Yar...she hasn't aged very well, of course that was forever ago on Star Trek...

I loved it all!! I will agree with the Judith scene, wasn't a fan of that, but understood why they did it that way. Can't wait to see what the rest of the season is going to be like. I watched "Talking Dead" or whatever the show after TWD was on. The gave some pretty good hints on what to expect in the coming episodes.
