Help with meal plan?

I just got the new Skinnytaste cookbook and I really want to try all her recipes. Just not sure how to incorporate her recipes into a breakfast, lunch and dinner meal plan for say around 1500 cal/day. Her recipes per serving for breakfast are around 150-250 calories. What else should I be eating in addition to her breakfast recipe to make it 350 calories? Another obstacle is I'm cooking for myself since my husband is doing the no carb keto diet.

Well, if the recipe is 150 cals then u could just eat 2 servings, or, add jam or peanut butter or both. Make sure you have a food scale and you weigh your portions. Measuring them out, especially high calorie things, can be very inaccurate.

If you want to eat from this cookbook you can, but it isn't necessary. No food is "bad", just some are more calorie dense than others and the calories add up faster. Add a banana or other fruit, toast, anything, as long as the calories are where you want.
