Here's some good info…
Be miserable. Or motivate yourself. Whatever has to be done, it's always your choice.

It's about moderation not deprivation. There are no good/bad foods, only bad eating habits. Do or do not, there is no try. You have to want it, you have to work for it, you have to realize that only you can do it.

I've even given people programs before they could afford to pay for something because I truly care about helping people. Not every coach out there is out to drain you dry.
All you people can't honestly say (unless you've bought a program and actually didn't half *kitten* the thing and didn't commit) it's a waste. Have you checked out success stories? I know a handful of top coaches (Anita Miron, Shiva Latifi, Alyson Schomaker) who started out and do competitions now. It's a GREAT place to start your fitness.
sorry, but you don't need beach body ...you just need calorie deficit and a gym membership ...

My BB coach is a friend and doesn't push me to buy things I don't want/need. They're not all horrible as people on here want you to believe. (No, I am not a coach) You'll be able to see your coach on teambeachbody.com. You can email them or call to change your coach.
Otherwise if you're just looking for info on hybrid routines, you can always Google it to find printable schedules.-4 -

Anyone can go into a library and "educate" themselves without a license, degree, etc. Some people just need the help. I can't see the harm in that...can you?iheartinsanity wrote: »I'm a coach, and while yes, you're paying for my "coaching" by buying products. And nutritionists still aren't licensed and regulated like RDs are so I still wouldn't take advice from one.
I'd rather go to the library and do research on my own to determine what is right/wrong for myself than to pay someone to tell me what they believe is right/wrong for me.0 -

Ugh, excuse me for attempting to actually answer the OPs original question rather than being an *kitten* to her. That's how you see/change your coach. Not trying to spam ... next time I'll just pm her.0 -
Can't get over the title of this thread...but I'm sure you will get a lot of new friend requests/messages soon. MFP is a great site full of resources...which I new about it before I started my transformation.
Good luck.

I'm always fascinated by the idea that one needs a "coach" of any sort to succeed.
Motivation and validation should be coming from you, not some outside person with an ulterior motive.
I'd rather consult a rando on the street about nutrition than a BeachBody "coach". I'd rather hear an honest "I don't know." or "Leave me alone, I'm on my way to work." than a tacky sales pitch.0 -

Exactly. There are 'success' stories for every fad out there. What you don't see is what happens when these people quit the fads…they never show that.
While I get you may not be like most coaches, and for that good for you. Though I think selling shakeology and such is really selling snake oil and is praying on people who are desperate to lose weight, which I do not think is okay.

Ok I LOVE BeachBody. I love the site for tracking my measurements and workouts. Super gym is brilliant and let's me see all the days I worked out and what workouts I did in a color coded calendar. I love HipHopAbs and Brazil Butt Lift. For me they are AWESOME cardio workouts that does exactly what I want them to.
BUUUUUUT! I NEVER speak to my coach. Ever, I don't need to. I do my own meal planning, I don't do shakeology, etc etc. I found my workout videos online for free because I didn't want to pay for them if they sucked *shifty eye*.
You don't need a BB coach. Google is your friend. Do your research and learn about health, nutrition and what your OWN body needs to lose weight, be fit and happy.
But yes I find the website super helpful and found the perfect cardio workouts for myself.
