Hey new here don't know how to start quit smoking now 7months later I'm packing on the pounds, started exercising but not losing anything but I'm gaining more ,I'm to old to gain weight simple help to start would be nice

    I can't say I've had this problem before but I've watched my mum quit and pack the pounds on - I think around 12kgs/25pounds.

    Not sure what your diet is like or if you only started exercising more but depending on the type and amount of exercising you could be gaining muscle. Best option is to see progress through how loose your clothes feel or measuring with a tape. There's a weight watcher scale I bought that measures body fat % so that might of gone down for you but muscle mass went up and is causing the normal scales to stay the same.

    Just make sure you drink a lot of water, eat lots of protein/veggies and some fruit and some healthy snacks between meals like celery and hummus or some nuts.

    If you add food to your diary and make it public, some people may be able to give advice on if you're eating too much or too little as well. :)
