Hello out there...

Hello, I am a 52 year old married woman from the southeast with three grown children (that live too far away from home).

I have about 50 pounds to lose. I know what to eat. I know how many calories I need. I know I need to exercise. And I do just fine for a while and then a problem, real and/or exaggerated, comes up and I try to smooth it over with ice-cream, lots of ice cream.

I was here before but I mostly did the logging and not much else. I am going to try being more involved to see if that helps me stay motivated.

    Welcome! The key to sticking with exercise is to make it a priority every day. Just like you brush your teeth and eat and drink water every day, make exercise a necessary part of your routine. And when stress hits take it out in the gym!

    Steve, I see that you are from Louisville. That is where my kids ran off to. We are from a very small town is SE KY and they really like the big city better, can't say That I blame them.
