Hello, I am a 52 year old married woman from the southeast with three grown children (that live too far away from home).
I have about 50 pounds to lose. I know what to eat. I know how many calories I need. I know I need to exercise. And I do just fine for a while and then a problem, real and/or exaggerated, comes up and I try to smooth it over with ice-cream, lots of ice cream.
I was here before but I mostly did the logging and not much else. I am going to try being more involved to see if that helps me stay motivated.
Looking forward to getting to know you all (or y'all, as we say!)!

Welcome! The key to sticking with exercise is to make it a priority every day. Just like you brush your teeth and eat and drink water every day, make exercise a necessary part of your routine. And when stress hits take it out in the gym!0

Steve, I see that you are from Louisville. That is where my kids ran off to. We are from a very small town is SE KY and they really like the big city better, can't say That I blame them.
