Hi I'm pleased with my weight loss, most of me has toned up well but I would like some ideas to shape my upper arms which wobble wobbly like a jelly and now the warmer weather is coming here in the Southern hemisphere, are exposed. I have dumbells at home, chest expanders and a funny V shaped spring thing that you can squeeze in or slowly control out (an on-line purchase years ago!) I have had a left side mastectomy but have no limitations on exercise although my left chest muscles were impacted. Thanks in advance for any exercise suggestions I could do at home.

well, I think you'd want to continue the weightloss and then build some muscle. The arms wobble due to fat, and lack of muscle.0

Sorry, if I wasn't clear. My arms are now quite skinny, I'm at my maintenance weight but I agree that I need to convert the wobble to toned0

well, that wobble is probably a mixture of fat and loose skin, depending on amount of loss.
So, if that's the case, you might want to explore some lifting to build a little muscle. Building muscle will provide some meat in there to fight that wobble. Just what I would do.0 -
Hmmmm ok as someone that has some wobbly upper arms you probably need to work on your triceps. Triceps make up 2/3 of the muscles in your upper arm and most women don't exorcise them. For at home workouts Dumbbells work great for this. I do overhead arm extensions, kneeling rows and a couple other moves I can't remember the name of. Just google "dumbbell tricep work outs", for some good moves. I've only lost 1/4 inch of my arms in my weightloss journey so far but they look SO much better just because the muscle underneath is tightening and firming my arm up. So even though they arnt MUCH smaller yet they look much better because they are a lot FIRMER if not much slimmer. Which is nice while I wait for the fat to come off them (it takes ages for the fat to leave my arms, it always leaves my legs first).
So yeah, work those triceps!!!0
