Has anyone done the Live the Lifestyle 12 week program? Any thoughts on it? Pros? Cons? Been looking at trying it, but can't really find alot of information on it since you have to pay for the program any information out there is vague. So if anyone has done it, I would love to hear about your experience with it.

You don't have to pay anyone or join any program to lose weight. From a little googling, "Live the Lifestyle" looks like nutrisystem. As soon as you go off of the plan, you'll likely gain the weight back because eating Meal A + Meal B + Meal C each day does not teach you about calories, portion control, etc.

^yes. the best way to do this is with people who can help you figure out how to change your lifestyle to lose weight and stay fit forever instead of doing a program that the second its over you start to gain again

Now that I've found MFP, I won't ever pay for a weight loss program again. Seriously, the MFP tracking tool and the forums have all the information you need for success.

Ever since doctors and dietitians started telling people that lifestyle changes - overhauling your diet and starting regular exercises - were the best plan and the best way to keep the weight off, EVERYONE has started saying that whatever they have is a "lifestyle."

Using the word doesn't mean you get the same results as the people who ate right and exercised. When someone uses the word "lifestyle," be wary. And if they're charging you for it?! LOL, be very wary.

Thanks everyone. I know my biggest issue is that I need to get back to making healthier food choices and drinking more water and give up (or at least cut down) on the diet soda. Was looking at this LTL plan to help keep me motivated to "stay on the wagon" long enough that these things became a habit again. But you all are right, I already have the tools I just need to use them.
