21 Day Fix Questions

I'm thinking about doing the 21 day fix. I just had a baby and I have no issue busting my butt working out, but i struggle with food and knowing what i should be eating and how much. My question is, instead of the 30 minute workouts that come with the program, can you do other workouts? Also, when prepping food for the week, can you cook chicken or meats for the entire week? Will it still be good to eat at the end of the week?

I don't follow it but as far as cooking in advance, I wouldn't leave meat in the fridge more than 2-3 days once cooked because bacteria grows and will make you sick.

Yes, you can do other workouts (tho you might need to play with the calorie level if your workouts are significantly longer and/or more intense than the 21DF workouts). And don't forget that if you are breastfeeding, you'll need to eat an extra 500 calories per day for milk production. :)

I agree with kshadows - I only leave meat in the fridge for 2-3 days after it's been cooked.

You can do other workouts but you may not get the same results. The exercise program was designed to work together. I am a Beachbody coach and do free challenge groups thru FB and I am getting ready to have a 21 Day Fix challenge as well. All of my groups are to help people on their weight loss journey and to provide support, accountability, menus, and shopping list to take the guess work out it all. You can also win a prize for participation. :) If anyone is interested or would like to know more, please message me. I would love to help you with your weight loss and fitness goals!

The program was designed to sell shakes?

You can definitely do other workouts! But don't count out the Fix workouts, I personally love them and you can always up the intensity to whatever level is appropriate for your own fitness. I know a lot of people that batch cook their meat, chicken for example and shred it and keep it in the fridge to use on salads and in meals for the week. :)
