Newbie Vegan here

Hi All! so today marked 100 days of logging in for me and guess what I have to show for it? Pretty much nothing :-(
That's ok though, I'm starting my new exercise plan today and I want to start consistently logging those workouts again cause it feels oh so good.

Oh and I'm looking for vegan friends. Hubby and I are slowing transitioning, might start out vegetarian first to take it slow but I would love to "beef" up (no pun intended) my FL with vegans that share their diaries. I think the biggest challenge for me, especially at first is cooking vegan and making sure i'm getting all the vitamins I need.

Looking forward to chatting with some new friends on this topic.

    18 month vegan. Not as impressive as 25 years but I'm only 21 so that's impossible lol

    Oh, and there are MANY types of veganism. Just because you're vegan, does not mean you will lose wight or be healthy.
    Since you're just starting out, meat and cheese substitutes are OK but after 3 months, get rid of them. Soy, oils, and funky chemicals may be vegan but they're not going to make you healthy.

    I'm not vegan, but a dear friend is, and we like to have her over for dinner, so I cook lots of vegan meals. I'm presuming you know the Post Punk Kitchen (http://www.theppk.com/), but if not, check it out.
