I'm Shelby and some-what new to My Fitness Pal. I have attempted to use this in the past, but always fell off the bandwagon somewhere along the way of counting calories.

A few days ago I attempted to start a VLCD (Very Low Calorie Diet) consuming only supplements, water, and 500 calories a day. By day two I felt very ill, was hating everything about the change, and was in an overall bad mental state for losing weight.

I decided that there is a lot more to losing weight than just shedding pounds. I need to make a psychological commitment to this lifestyle change... so here I am!
