Frustrated with my progress

So - I started this three weeks ago (set to lose 1.5lbs./week) and the first week I lost 3.4, yay! The next only .4...ok....but then this week I gained 2 lbs.! OMG - oh no!
Now, I know I had one really bad day this weekend but I made up for it the next day. When I was on weight watchers a few years ago I was losing consistently - what's wrong with me this time?
SO frustrated!

Your body is trying to adjust to your new diet/lifestyle changes. You may be retaining water for a number of different reasons and that cause the gain this week0

I took a quick look at your diary and would guess that sodium intake may be part of the problem. You're not tracking it (I'd advise you to add it under diary setting) but from the foods you've logged, it looks like a lot of it is prepared/processed foods. Try eating more fresh veggies and homemade meals to reduce sodium intake. And drink more water to offset the retention.
Could be hormonal fluctuations? I know either ovulation or PMS week can bloat me like nobody's business...as much as 5 pounds!0 -

Perfectly normal.
I have a suggestion for you - which I had forgotten I even did myself until I flipped over my calendar.
You know when you close your diary MFP always tells you "if everyday were like today you would weigh XXXlbs in 5 weeks"? Well, 5 weeks ago, I took down that number and wrote it on my calendar 5 weeks from when I logged it.
In this case, when I flipped my calendar to October, I see that on October 17 I should weigh 181.8 lbs. Now - anyone will tell you NOT to take the number you are given as gospel. Obviously you dont eat the same thing everyday! BUT - like you I was SO FRUSTRATED when the scale would go up. YES I know about water gain, YES I know time of the month can see me gain up to 8 lbs in a few days, YES I know salt will make me hold water weight... it doesn't matter - I would get upset.
BUT I noticed by writing down the 5 weeks weight, I now KNOW I am on track.
Monday I was at 181.2 lbs. (started TOM) and this morning I was at 182 lbs,
Even with all the up and down - seeing what I SHOULD BE (from 5 weeks ago) I KNOW I am doing it all right. I know I am on the right track!
Maybe this is something you could try? So even when you are down by going up, you WILL see you are on track in the long run?
This REALLY helped me to stay motivated, and I am going to keep logging at least 1 weight a month based on the 5 week goal...

SO frustrated!
SO impatient.
Do the math.
Lost: 3.4 - .4 -.4 = 4.2 lbs.
Gained: 2 lbs.
Net Loss: 2.2 lbs. (average loss .7 lb/week)
You're losing weight. What's the hurry? Keep doing what you're doing and the weight will continue to come off. Wrap your head around the idea that weight loss is not linear. Just because you set the application to lose 1.5 lbs a week doesn't mean your body will comply. You lose some. You gain some. That's just how it works. If you do it right your loses are greater than your gains. You doing it right.
Be patient.
