Can't reach cal. Goal?

So I've noticed I can't seem to reach my calorie goal. I'm fu and I eat as I'm hungry and still have over 400 cal left..
Suggestions?

    Cal dense foods help. Ice cream, peanut butter, avocado....
    Drinking cals also helps. Orange juice, whole milk....
    Combine the two for a win. MILKSHAKE!!!!

    If I eat more of one I have to eat more of all or the ratio is all wrong and the taste is not tasty :/

    As long as you hit your min requirements for vitamins, minerals, protein and fat it doesn't matter what the additional cals come from.

    You've already netted over 1,300 today. If you truly aren't hungry, don't force yourself to eat more. You should net at least 1,200 per day, so you're in good shape. One day won't throw you off.

    Any nut butter
    Full fat dairy
    Donuts
    Muffins

    Coconut oil, full-fat lard, nuts. All these are much healthier than beer and doughnuts.

It kills me when people say they can't reach their calories for the day. They didn't get to the point of wanting to lose weight by eating nothing but lettuce...

    That's not my point. It's this: if you can't reach your calorie goal, eat a cheeseburger. Problem solved.

    Don't eat if you're not hungry. For a lot of us here that's how we got overweight to begin with. You need to instill healthy habits and eating just to meet a number MFP recommends is stupid. Besides, you'll meet your goal sooner. Try for a larger deficit, if this is happening often.
