Just found MFP the other day. Hoping it will help me drop lots of pounds. Could use some help figuring out some things:
1. It recommended 1200 calories, which I can do most days, but if I exercise should I use the calories lost exercising that day???
2. I've been doing p90 since 5/10. I haven't lost a single pound, yet, I need to know how to enter those workouts into MFP. Should I be working out more. I thought 6 days a week would be enough.
If anyone could help me I'd feel less confused.

There are tons of people on here that will tell you to adhere to what MFP tell syou. I am no different. The first week I dropped 7 pounds, adn was ecstatic! I would say that if you entered in all your info correctly and accounted for what you are currently doing, then you should be good to go. Go a few weeks and see what happens, then judge based on that though. Good luck!0

Just a quick word of advice-read through the other posts. Especially the ones for beginners. You can also search. There are about a bazillon on the topic of exercise calories alone. I, personally eat 1200 calories a day, then jsut started eating most of my exercise calories. Good luck!0

1. yes you should eat your exercise calories, atleast part of them. (if ur not getting enough fuel for 6 day/week workouts ur body will think it is starving)
2. to log ur p90 go to exercise, then click on my exercise. click create exercise. Add you title, minutes and calories burned and save it and it will be in your log from then on. If you have a heart rate monitor it is easier to know how much you are burning.
Good luck, and keep doing what you are doing....the weight will come off before you know it, make sure and take your measurements, watch your sodium and drink 8-10 glasses of water!0 -
Thanks for the advice. Hoping not to get discouraged this time around. Hoping this is the last time i'm "starting over" again and the first time I completely commit to losing weight/keeping it off and feeling better about myself.0
