Just got a Fitbit--What is the calorie adjustment?

What is it? What do I do with that information? Do I change how I'm logging exercise? I do strength training with a trainer 3x/wk and run/walk 6 days/wk. Do I log the strength training and not the run/walking? Help please. :)

You have 3 choices: 1) Just let fitbit do it's thing and log nothing knowing it is not going to give you accurate calories for the strength training; 2) if you really want to eat back those extra calories then log the strength training - fitbit is made to track running/walking so I wouldn't log that; or 3) if it isn't about eating the extra calories but you want to track the strength training so you have a record that you did it - then track it as 1 minute 1 calorie and you'll have the tracking but not the adjustment.
