I've started running (again) but can't seem to lose any weight... instead I've climbed and having to let my belt out yet another notch.

What about your diet?0

How long has it been? Have you given your body the time it needs to adjust and release the excess water it retained when you started running? Your diary is empty. Are you logging your food somewhere? How many calories are you eating?0

ummm guilty of not logging. wow, stepping on my toes already. lol. I know I NEED to do it. I'll try harder tomorrow. I've been running about 3 weeks now.0

Not stepping on your toes. Trying to help you figure out why you're not losing.0

Ya if you're not logging then you do not have the information you need to determine why you're gaining weight. But you know that0

I know your not, it's all good. Well, actually maybe my toes DO need stepping on. lol.0

You are eating too much. No amount of running will help you if you are not eating at calorie deficit. I know because I've been there.
A start is figuring out your goals and logging all your food.0 -

well, the good news is you just found out you're not "stuck" Congrats on starting the running again! Certainly health benefits there for doing that. Sadly we can't really out-exercise our overeating so "losing weight" usually isn't one of the health benefits instantly gained by running alone.
Best of luck as you embark on logging, I think you'll love your results once you get into it.0 -

Running doesnt equal weight loss....0

When I exercise without logging, I find myself saying, "I can have this because I worked out today." I undid about half of my weight loss this way and now find myself needing to lose 25 pounds again. I'll be logging again, even though I HATE IT.0

I started training for an event 4 months ago and same thing happened to me OP. I had to re-evaluate my diary and be honest with myself. Weight started coming back down last month when I started keeping better track.0 -

It's like you know me. Unverified justification.
