I'm a stay at home mom with tree kids and I'm starting back to college this winter. I have struggled with weight issues my whole life and am now 120 lbs over weight. I was at a doctors appointment today where he told me it would not surprise him if I had either diabetes or if not in saline resistance. With the fact that none of my family any of these issues that I know of I was really surprised. I have been tired of my weight issues but not enough to do anything about it now I understand that if I don't do something my kids could loose their mother and I don't want this to happen but I'm worried that I'm going to loose my drive to make the changes that I need to and stick with it every time I have tried/have gotten sown to where I should be I loose my drive and gain more weight. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Hi,
I can understand where you're coming from. I have released about 15 lbs, and still have another 65 to go... support definitely helps, as well as a detailed plan.
Do you have a plan yet? If not, I may be able to help with that. Go ahead and send a friend request and we can chat some more.
It's a long road ahead, but it is definitely doable0 -
I'm just gonna leave this right here.

Dealing with insulin resistance by losing weight, making healthy food choices, and getting regular exercise is wonderful for you and your family. There's good information on how lifestyle changes can decrease risk of diabetes here: http://www.cdc.gov/diabetes/prevention/prediabetes.htm ~Lynn /Glucerna0
