Stress & Staying on Track

In short - I've been on track these past two months, logging faithfully, seeing great results - now college midterms are around the corner, everyone's running low on sleep and high on stress, and it's suddenly become a lot harder to resist binging on comfort food, no matter how horrible I know it will leave me feeling. Emotional/stress eating has always been a big problem, so I figure now's as good a time as any to learn how to manage stress in a healthier way. : )

My question: How do you manage stress / business and staying on track? Is there anything in particular you've found helpful in avoiding stress-fueled binges/cheat days?

So far I've found that making a cup of tea when I'm "hungry" is helpful, but I'd like to get some new ideas. Been "cheating" much more frequently lately and I'm scared of losing the progress I've made.

When I am stressed I love to watch movies or read and just snack for hours. I've been super stressed the last few weeks (sick kids, short staff at work) and I really got off track. I decided to log my food the night before and work some treats into my calories. So far, I've been satisfied. I also find walking helpful or anything that gets me moving. Best of luck with the midterms!

I too struggle with snacking while I study. I'll let you know when I find the remedy lol. For now, calorie counting/logging helps. Perhaps brushing your teeth? Or chewing gum?

By regularly doing yoga or workout will help you to manage your stress.
