Getting over the moody blues.

Woke up late in a horrible mood. Decided to have cereal for breakfast instead of my usual protein. Bad idea. Felt bloated and frustrated for giving in to laziness. Played on the computer instead of working out then rationalized it by taking my daughter to the movies. Yep, might as well eat half a bag of popcorn. Complained a little then decided to change my attitude. How quickly we revert to our old ways. It's so much easier.
Forced myself to do 60 minutes on the Wii Fit. It isn't the highest burning solution but it beats the heck out of sitting on the couch. Now I'm going to do a little time playing in the pool with my daughter. Not really what I want but I know in the end it is better for me and for her then sitting and watching another movie. Not to mention there are no chips in the pool.
Why is it always so much easier to do what is bad for us than what is right? Well, here is to doing what is right, no matter how hard it is. :grumble:

Good girl for getting up and trying to fix the situation on the same day and not giving up for the rest of the day, or week, or month!!!
The mere fact that you recognized it and made a change THAT DAY is truly great. It means that you are taking your decision to get motivated seriously. Don't forget to celebrate that. It is super important!

I think some of us are just self destructive by nature. Like I know how much better I will feel once I get up and do something. But it is making myself do it that is the hard part. I would so be in that pool right now though. Good job recognizing it! That is half the battle right there!0

Sorry your day started off that way. On the bright side, doing an hour on Wii Fit is Awesome! And you are totally right...it would have been easier to sit at the computer or sit on the couch and watch tv...but you made the right choice by getting up and getting active! I hope you have a better day tomorrow! :flowerforyou: Hang in there!!!0

I feel for ya girl, I got turned down for a job this morning. I was so frusterated! I didn't want to eat, or do anything ... but I made myself to walk a mile .. it made me feel pumped up! I'm jealous. I would LOVE to go swimming with you and your daughter .. can my kids come too?0
