New and looking for suggestions...

Hello all,

I am new here and l see there is a LOT of good info to read.

I will be turning 46 this year and I am looking to get my life and body turned around so that I can be more active and helpful for my kids. I let myself go over the past several years and I find myself feeling worse each day. So I started looking around and found this great app on my phone and it really opens your eyes as to what and how many calories you are putting into your body. I also purchased a Fitbit to help me track steps and calories burned.

I haven’t read through everything on here but I have yet to see any advice for people like me that can’t really stand vegetables. I was looking into starting with some weight loss shakes but I see there are several people against those but I due to time constraints in the morning I find it difficult to fix a good quick, satisfying breakfast.

So fear of this getting too long I would love to hear some advice/ideas on meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner for someone that doesn’t care for veggies.

Thanks
Jeff

    Hi Jeff,
I am not a big vegetable eater either but I force myself into having a few per the dietitian I am working with. She suggested protein shakes for me and protein bars. I have to have 70 protein everyday! I eat alot of fruit and really enjoy it. I can give you support and what to eat. You can add me if you want!!!! I also have a fitbit, it's the flex and I'm still trying to get use to it. I think it lies!
