Bad grandma? Help!

My boyfriend moved his grandmother in with us 6 months ago. Before the move, we only talked with her on the phone for the past 2 years as she lived quite a distance away with her daughter. Since the move, it has become apparent that she is a continual lier. We work from home for our own business and she will come into our work area and just stare at us and never say a word. She touches things on our desk and reads any papers that are lying about. She indicated that she was in good health, however now that she's here we're in a doctors office 1-2 days every week because of her "good health". She's a very bitter woman and has another grandson that she sends most of her money to every month so that by the 15th, she's out of money and miserable. She wont eat any "real" food and when we're at dinner, she spits 1/2 of her food out on a napkin (gross). My boyfriend is to the point where he cant stand to come out and work, because she's always staring at us (which is creepy and annoying). She also doesn't bother to close doors when she's changing and using the bathroom, which is very embarrassing for him to see his grandmother.

Any suggestions on what we should do? Thanking anyone in advance who offers any suggestions whatsoever!
