My names Larry. I am from Yakima Washington. I have been doing Weight Watchers since August 25. I am down 29 lbs. I am happy with the weight loss but the point system that they use really bugs me. Not to mention the $20.00 a month for access online. I would much rather see real numbers for calories. I was also impressed with the nutritional information myfitnesspal gave me when I plugged in what I ate today. Also that there was two way communication between here and my fitbit. I do a lot of research online about nutrition and fitness and I noticed that a lot of search results came from here. The message boards are very active which I like! I hope to do some learning and even make a few friends.
Larry

Welcome and wishing you much success. I have to admit I preferred the WW online tools, but MFP is free so I couldn't resist. Congrats on your great weight loss so far!

Welcome - I'm visiting family in the Valley this weekend. Getting spoiled on the most amazing apples in the world.

Hi I am Anita from the lower Yakima Valley. Just started tracking my meals this week. I had already been using map my walk for some time. I try to get in a couple miles a day. I am doing a wellness challenge right now. I am down about 4 pounds. It's interesting to see how calories add up while tracking meals. Definitely makes you more accpuntable.
