Any good ideas for night snacks?

Does anyone have ideas for quick and easy snacks to eat before bed?
I know some swear by NOT doing this, and I do tend to feel better if I can avoid it, but hey, if I'm very hungry, I'd usually rather eat.
I used to just do a whole grain cereal such as oatmeal with berries or protein powder and soy milk, but I'm trying to avoid just straight carbs if possible (but not always
I wish cottage cheese and such sounded more appealing to me at 10 or 11 pm!
Any ideas/tips?

Banana's meant to help you sleep, so banana with something else for protein?0

I've done that.. they're kind of high in carbs but they are delicious.
That and PB or almonds is so good.
I'll add it to the list.0 -
If I'm still hungry shortly before bed time I'll have some veggies (bell pepper, carrots, ...) cut into sticks with some dip for example hummus or cottage cheese.0

I used to have 3-4 squares of dark chocolate before bed as a snack, kind of a treat to myself especially as I'd try to save calories for it and I felt like I was still getting treats on most days.
Also porridge/muesli with milk works well but just a little, ideally no more than 30g for a snack.0 -
I tend to save my little treat for just before bed time. So a bit of chocolate, a fat free marshmallow or a stick of liquorice with a cup of coffee or an options hot choc drink. Then i can regulate myself through the evening, knowing that there's something nice waiting for me if I've been good. Pretty much works for me.0

I was about 400 calories short on the day, so I mixed up a cup (8 oz) of plain, non-fat greek yogurt, a tablespoon of ED Smith wildberry fruit spread, a heaped teaspoon of (baking) cocoa powder and 1/4 cup of blanched almonds for about 350 calories. Figured I was close enough for govt work.0
