Hi all!
I think I've opened my diary properly. I've been using MFP along with my Fitbit and Aria scale for a few weeks -- since the end of February or so.
I'm 37, I have five kids, I'm 5'8" and currently weigh 160 pounds. I'd like to eventually get down to 140, but I'm working in small 5 pound goals, because I like the small wins. :-)
I've been weighing and measuring foods lately, just to get a better idea of proper portion sizes, which I find helpful. I log everything. I regularly hit my 10,000 steps, and often hit significantly more (I'm at 17,300 today, for example). And I feel the weight is veeeerrrrry slow in coming off -- and there are plenty of days when it creeps up! SO frustrating.
Would love any feedback.
(You'll note that I don't log most Saturdays, because I'm offline for Shabbat. I am pretty careful about what I eat then, and I find it hard believe that even if I went absolutely crazy every single Saturday (I don't), that would be enough to derail me. Am I wrong?)
Anyway, thanks for any insight!
Best,
Abbi

I struggle with this too! I've upped my daily calories, I've lowered them, I've eaten cals back, then not. I'm not losing weight either. I'm not overweight. Only have about 8lbs to lose, and I want to tone up. I am doing the 30 Day Shred right now, along with 6week/6pack ABS. I just don't know the right formula! I log daily, and I feel I eat quite well/healthy. I'm 39, and 5"11. 2 kids 166lbs. Want to be about 158, but nothing I have done is working. Everyone says to give it more time, but it's still frustrating! I am not about to give up, as eating healthy and exercising are now a part of who I am! Would love some insight on this also!0
