When is the right time to start taking protein shake along with insanity program ?

Heey All,
i would like to get an advice from experts. the issue is i will start insanity, and i am confused if its right to start taking a protein powder from the first day or am not sure when exactly to start taking it. would someone who did insanity give me an advice please. thank you.

You don't "need" a protein shake a all if you're eating enough protein per day. Regardless of what advertising or encouragement that many say to drink them, they're really only needed if one is deficient in protein. The rest is all hyped up science that doesn't apply to the general population.

Exactly what nine says, Protein shakes are for those not able to get the amount of daily protein through food. They are expensive though and having some protein rich foods on hand will help and save you money. I always some some tuna or baked beans around for after a workout if I have not made the protein number for the day.
