Wow, was I stupid!
OK, so here's what happened...
I used to own a janitorial service years ago before baldness, bulges, bunions and butt boils.
Even after selling the business, I still used industrial cleaners for various household chores.
No problems there...except these products probably cause cancer, but I digress.
Anyway, these containers seem a waste to just throw away, so I had a fabulous idea!
Why not reuse them to store the juice I blend every other day - SMART...right?
I thought myself quite the genius!
So, I washed and rinsed the used container very well, then blended my fruits and veggies and poured the healthy mix into this toxic jug. The next morning I poured a glass and took a sip - OUCH!
My juice tasted just like Windex. It was horrible!
My wife found out what I did and just belly laughed before lecturing me on the dangers of chemical leech properties and plastic storage containers. She seemed to really enjoy my suffering. It made her day.
So, important safety note: don't store juice in a toxic container.
That is all...

I was worrying all day yesterday. And once you get used to the taste, it's not so bad.
Maybe I could market this as a new form of body detox!ThePhoenixIsRising wrote: »I enjoyed the laugh, prob not as much as your wife, thanks!

Let us all be reminded that despite what the people on Extreme Cheapskates tell you, many things in this world are not resuable.0
