Hello there, wonderful people!

Hi all!
Just wanted to say an official hello, as I have been slacking for nearly 3 years since having a MFP account! I have made the decision to actually put this account to use, instead of just lurking on message boards! Haha
I've been a MFP member for a few years, but never took advantage of this website & it's tools/community at all. I've posted a few things here & there, but nothing that I can say really helped me along my fitness & health journey. However, I'm at a point in my life where I am actually learning & understanding why fitness & nutrition is important & not just something I need to do to lose weight. One of the benefits of getting older is becoming a bit wiser, I suppose :)
Anyway, my name is Ann. I am 28 years old & have struggled with weight all of my life. I come from a Greek family, so everyone is always eating...large amounts...all the time. Over the past two years, however, I have finally taken control of all of this & have lost over 100lbs. I still have about 50 to go, & I am currently at a bit of standstill/losing hope right now, hah, so I figured this would be a great place to come to get some tips & motivation.
