My First Food Jornal

Hello all!

I have been on a pretty strict diet for the last 8 mos and I have found great success in that I have lost over 40lbs. I've never kept a food journal before and I am looking for ways to maintain my eating habits as I move into phase 2 of my plan : exercise. I've started exercising regularly in the last month and I am really struggling with not over eating because my appetite has increased so much. Hopefully, this will help me to not loose track of how much I eat and keep me motiviated.

    keep in mind though that when you exercise you burn more calories and you need to eat more, even to lose weight, so of course you're hungry, you are using more energy and need more fuel. Do you eat back your exercise calories? If you don't try eating at least half of them and you'll feel much better and probably lose weight more easily as well.
