So I've been having crazy cravings lately, specifically for veggie burgers. I just had two morningstar grillers layered with avocado, greek yogurt, and ranch seasoning. Freakin' amazing. I was wondering if anyone had a veggie burger recipe they'd like to share? I'd like to try making my own instead of buying these frozen ones. I'm also hittin' up google to find some too :]

  • I make my own black bean burgers sometimes! My husband hates most vegetarian anything and even he loves these and asks for them a lot.

1 can reduced sodium black beans, mashed
1/2 small white onion, diced and sauteed
    1 egg
    1/2 cup Panko
    1 tsp salt-free Italian Seasoning
    1 tsp black pepper
    1 tsp garlic powder

Just combine, form into patties, and cook in a pan over medium heat. Each side takes about 3 minutes. So easy! So yummy! Makes 4-6 patties, depending on how big you want them. They're good with avocado!

Will have to try these! I had the most amazing rice/beans burger at a restaurant once and really wish I could find a recipe for it.
