So I've had this app forever, and my tracker looks like a friggin heart rate machine-thingamajig..and I'm just so done with it all. I'm 5'6 and my goal weight is 125-133. This is where I look best and feel my best.
Since having my kids (and gaining 50-70lbs w/ both) I have tried every diet. Sometimes I have tried 4 diets within 1 week! Why? Because I know firsthand that they have all worked for me to some degree. But for some reason, for the life of me, I have not been able to remain exclusive to one! I have used Atkins around 10 years ago, and that is how I managed to get to my smallest (126 lbs) and I was able to keep it off pretty well even after eating carbs, without calculating them. I went up to 133 but even then I felt fit & strong because I went into the police academy ;o) it's now been 7 years, and 2 babies later and I cannot stick to 1 stinking plan!
They have all worked well. Intermittent fasting (and stacking ECA) worked well after my last baby, but at around 150lbs I just mentally gave up and could no longer stick to it! Each day I'd do great, but then I would eat for no reason! And I'd day..ok well just start over tomorrow! Then after all the hoopla with Kim Kardashian losing the weight on Atkins I said I'd try it again. I just honestly don't feel GOOD when on it. I'd crave a glass of orange juice or something and then be like to hell with it! Then the next day, I'd try fat fasting on macadamia nuts n cream cheese..then I'd go back to intermittent fasting lol. It's just sad. And everywhere I'd look online, I'd find good things..Atkins & fasting match made in heaven. Fat fast & fasting match made in heaven. Well I just cannot stick to it and I'm done (for now lol) with trying. I've been looking into 21 day fix, and it really really seems to be just HEALTHY and smart. I like that I can eat from all food groups (with limitations) and basically just strive for clean eating. I'm obviously going to try and eat only from the approved whole grains list (and earlier in the day) and I'm signing up for the gym. I've made excuses forever..but really I didn't feel they were excuses. My kids are young (4 & 2) and until they start school, I always felt I just couldn't leave them to go gym due to our schedules etc. well that's over! They will be just FINE for an hour or so! Clean eating and crossfit..here I come! Bye-bye fat girl

Hey! So it looks like you have found a track you like. Please keep in mind that "clean eating" and "crossfit" will not in themselves lower your weight. If you eat more than you burn you will gain or maintain. You need to ensure the number of calories you are eating is correct. What you eat does not matter with regards to weight loss.0

I am thinking of doing the 21 day fix too. Just to get used to portion control and stuff. Find one wat of eating and stick with it.0
