Trail mix

Just read an article stating that trail mix could be the worst snack around. Sugars in the raisins cranberries a yogurt covered almonds. I use this for a quick shot of protien, pretty often. The article also stated how high in fat it is. Anyone else heard this? It's a quick easy and tasty way to get some protien. Any suggestions on something low in calories, and fat with a good amount of protien, to kinda take it's place?
