Average daily intake is recommended to be around 4700 mg daily.
That can be difficult to achieve, and it's very difficult to track here on MFP because it's not required to be on food labels (in the US, not sure about elsewhere), and even when it's included a lot of people don't input that info into the food database here. I just try to makes sure to eat at least one or two food sources high in potassium every day: potatoes, bananas, tomatoes, cashews, almonds, dried apricots, etc...0
