Pedometer help!

Hey guys
So I downloaded an app yesterday to estimate how much calories I was burning through walking (I don't do exercise so my activity level on MYF is 'sedentary' but I do walk to and from College and so I just wanted to have an idea)
It says that I walked around 2.7 miles and burned 140 calories. I walk quite slowly, it says an average of 3.2km/h, and I was walking for about 50 minutes. I'm 123lbs and 5'2. I'm 18 too.
Anyway, back to my question. Should I include this in my MYF diary or do you think the pedometer is unreliable?
