MFP App on Samsung S5 - Making Homemade Recipes is Impossible Now!!!!!

I DO NOT LIKE the new update on MFP for recipes. I want to look at suggested ingredients as I add them. I want to pick from things I have used before. I really don't care what MFP thinks I should use or what they suggest I use. And I CAN'T find the Bar Code Scanner to add ingredients anywhere on my phone????? This new system STINKS!!!!

    Nevermind, I found the bar code scanner - they should make it even smaller at the bottom so NO ONE can find it!!
    - And on a 2nd note - I do not like the suggestions on foods when I enter an ingredient. I like the old way where I can look thru the list and make my own selection of what I want to use - I don't want to see their suggestion and then have to make extra steps to say no I don't like that - give me more to choose from. New Method is BAD!!
