Where do you get those meal prep containers? How much are they? Are they disposable?

I get the lock and lock glass ones (I tend to freeze and microwave a lot and the plastic ones just get all icky and bent, the lock and lock tops also seal really well so no leaking soup in my purse on the way to work). They go on sale once in awhile I think I paid 6 or 7 dollars per container and I have quite a few now.

I get the cheap ones by Ziploc etc and when they start looking crappy I replace them. Also lots of Ziploc bags for carrots and stuff.

My boyfriend prefers glass containers, but I usually buy plastic. I will get a cheap set with a variety of sizes, and are freezer, microwave and dishwasher safe with no BPA. Since I don't invest much in them, I don't feel bad throwing them away when they get bent or stained.

If you want to go with glass, if you have a store like TJ Maxx or Ross Dress For Less or Marshalls, they will often have the glass containers much cheaper.

I use mason jars for everything in the fridge. I prefer the wide mouth. It makes getting the foods out easier. You can freeze them and I do microwave them too.

If you mean the 21 Day Fix containers, skip it.

For me, I have a borderline unhealthy obsession with Pyrex and Anchor containers. I own way too many. But they're the best, microwave and dishwasher safe, and can hold quite a bit.

If you prefer plastic, Ziploc often has coupons out, so you can get $1/2 packages of containers. Easy way to stock up and save some money while you're at it.
