How much water do you drink?

I have a 65 ounce bottle that I finish everyday. Just wish I could figure out a way to piss less frequently.

I drink when I'm thirsty. I don't keep track. I've been at my goal weight for two years and I have way more important things to do than keep track of water, especially since normal eating and drinking are sufficient to keep a body hydrated.

Idk how you do it. I mean I could definitely drink more but it doesn't take long for me to feel like I need to pee and I end up doing it 4-5 times within an hour.

Between 2-4 glasses. Working on increasing the amount, but with everything I have to keep track of, water's the least of my worries.

  • Between 130-250 ounces daily. Water, besides COFFEE, is my FAVORITE beverage, so I tend to drink lots of it.

During the week, I usually drink 14-16 cups. I pee about 6-10 times within a 24 hour period. You said that you pee 4-5 times per hour. Is that accurate or just an exaggeration? I would mention your urination frequency to your doctor just to be safe. Hopefully, you just have a small bladder.

Well if i finish about 32-40 oz of water within an hour (which is normal for me) that's what happens. Is that abnormal?

Is there a certain amount of water one should drink proportional to one's weight?

Certain "celebrity" trainers have suggested drinking 1/2 your body weight in ounces a day. But the decent guidelines of 8 8oz glasses a day is good to avoid constipation, aid in the digestion process and help fiber do it's thing, helps keep your skin moist, some people drink 8-16ounces prior to every meal to help with over-eating, etc.

I see. Well one way or another, it sounds like I'm getting an adequate amount.

I try to drink more water, but I'm really not that thirsty throughout the day. I do like to drink tea- both hot and cold, but does that count towards water consumption?
