No more food for tonight!!!

I'm here to preoccupy myself so I don't eat any more tonight... la la la.... I'm going to chew a piece of gum...

    Not if you add up all the gum I chewed lol... oh and I don't eat back my exercise calories

    Hey missylectro. I know we are friends on MFP. I don't know if you are feeling better now, but if you want any support I'm here! :smile: Gum can be helpful, but it can also trigger the need to have more sugar than just the gum. It depends on the individual, so it's a good to recognize your own triggers. I know that for me boredom and stress are triggers for me. For food triggers, chocolate is a big trigger for me. Sugar is a big problem for me, so it is hard to have a small bit and be satisfied. Is there anything you can do to distract yourself? Maybe watch an interesting movie/TV show or call a friend? You can do some light exercises to expend any energy. When I feel bored or stressed, instead of eating I do some yoga exercises. Hope some of these ideas are helpful!
